All Important Single Edits On CD

Does anyone know where the hit 45 version of Wham's Wham Rap can be found on CD?
It's not on the new CD singles box set as far as I can see.

I believe this is correct, guitar overdubs are missing during the intro compared to the new CD.

As far as I can find out, the 'Special US Remix' from the 1983 7" hasn't been on CD anywhere. There's also an extra drum beat on the intro as well as the guitar overdubs to look for when trying to spot it. I'd forgotten there was a difference until this box set, as clearly that was meant to be track 6 on the Wham Rap CD single (that's Young Guns instead).

The first time I managed to get the 7" mix at all on CD was one of those '100 Hits' compilations, then the Japanese Singles Collection CD, and now The Singles CD, but in all cases it's the 1982 mix.

Not sure if the track missing on the new box set is the 45 version (3.30ish) or the 12" version of the Special US Remix though. If it's the long version, the hit 7" version will still be missing in action on CD.

Oh, I'd assumed it was the 45 version as it was the exact same wording as on the 7" label, didn't realise the 12" was labelled the same! And even with the blue sleeve single, it's listed as 'Part 1' and 'Part 2', but the label is still the 'Special US Remix' so it's always been messy.

I Swear (Album Version) 4:18

Anyone ever worked out what the difference is between tracks 2-4? They all sound identical to me!

I know that it was common at the time but the fact some songs' single versions (let alone such a massive hit from a time when CDs started emerging) have never been on CD/digital is wild.
Really frustrating, especially when the video (like the Tiffany example) played a big part in making the song so big. I also always go back to No Scrubs with Left Eye, which was never added to the album, and pre-greatest hits was only ever on the international single. As nostalgic as I get for certain eras in pop, the fact you could pay so much for an album off of one song and not even get the best version of it has always rubbed me the wrong way.
