All Important Single Edits On CD

I have a cd with a 3:15 version which I though was correct.
Which CD is that (I would be interested to get), might be an album edit (which may have been UK only). The UK CD Single was album version (unmixed). The single elsewhere was remixed for release with 2 7'' edits of the Hateful Club Mix, 4:26 (appears on 'Icon') & 3:30 (on the CD Promo + Comp).

EDIT, Just found it, this? https://www.discogs.com/release/6411577-Various-The-Lovers

Yes that is the cd I have with the 3:15 version. Thanks for the info on the 7" edit.

Does anyone know the source used for the UK edit of Rene & Angela? It has a section of instrumental right at the end.
This isn't on the LP version which has vocal right to the very end of the fade out.

I am sorry to post this here as it's kind of off topic I have another "quick" question about The Communards.

Regarding Don't Leave Me This way, what is the difference between:
Gotham City Mix
Gotham City Mix Part 1
Gotham City Mix Part 2
Son of Gotham City Mix
Son of Gotham City Mix part 1
Son of Gotham City Mix part 3
Son of Gotham City Mix full mix
Don't Leave Me This Way Mega Mix.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is any help but this page gives all track durations and where to find them on cd.

So to open a couple of old cans.. I bought Don't Stop the 80s vol 2 the Warners/Bravo German comp for the 4.18 edit of ABC's The Night You Murdered Love (thanks for the tip). Sounds pretty much like the 7" I remember, simply editing the last 'way oh'/breakdown section out to the orchestral fade. But...

It also has a 4.10 horrid version of ver Twins Doctor Doctor, with a long instrumental beginning going into the chorus at 0.52, with first verse at 1.24, with end coda at 3.36 to fade?
TT expert "Mwav" gave me an answer regarding the Doctor Doctor edit on that compilation.

"For that compilation, they took the remix edit from Greatest Mixes and just cut out a section from about 3:04 to 4:41 (right before the "burning burning" lyric on both ends). It is probably just a custom edit to squeeze more songs onto that one compilation."

For some reason I had a dream last night about Claire & Friends' It's 'Orrible Being in Love, and my first thought afterwards was whether it had ever been released on CD or not. Has it?
