All Important Single Edits On CD

UB40 in the 80s aren't served well on CD or any of their 12s particularly well available. I still don't have UB44 as it rarely dips below a tenner.
Yes there is at least Seven single versions and Five 12" versions from there 80s recordings missing on cd.
Definitely in need of proper Deluxe editions of all there 80s Albums.

There's been 3 so far on the current Now 12" series but I was surprised there wasn't either Cherry Oh Baby Dub Mix or If It Happens Again Dance Mix on Now 1984 12" pt1.

Is there a shorter edit of the more up tempo 6 minute "Soul Mix" version of Lisa Stansfield's In All the Right Places? I've just been looking on YouTube and Discogs and there doesn't appear to be. The up tempo version was the one I mostly heard played on the radio at the time, as opposed to the slower "Ambient"(?) mix. Or was the version played on radio the 6 minute version simply manually faded out by the DJ?

The promo has the full version so I guess not

There is a Soul Mix Edit but I am not sure where it's from, it's 3:58 in length. I think it might on a comp but not credited as such.

Question for the collective wisdom, where can I find the 7" edits of both the SOS Band's 'Just Be Good to Me' and the Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's 'I Wonder If I Take You Home'? Sadly this last one wasn't on the remastered reissue of a few years ago.

You know I'm not sure what the 7" of Just be Good actually is! I have multiple versions of it, several edits, yet they all feel a bit off somehow.

Yep, my iTunes has 3 versions which are either claimed to be 7" mixes, single versions or edits...

4.12
3.57
5.52

Plus a 5.43 mix which I think is the album version. I'd have to dig out my actual CDs to know.

From checking Discogs, the 7” version is 5:37 long, but I’ve definitely heard shorter edits and wiki (as much as you can trust it) lists a 4:10 radio edit.
I’d just like shorter version than the 9 minute album which seems to be the version cropping up everywhere I look!

3.55 is also on a Nite Flite comp from 1989, I think. That's where I have it on CD. Comes up 3.57 when I rip it.

I have that comp too, the 4:10 might have been edited for that comp then.

There is a 5:49 on the Jam and Lewis comp but I think it's just an album fade (like most of tracks on that comp).

The 3:57 & 4:10 are very similar but the latter one has the acapella album intro.
