Not saying that going 'Where are the Appleton's, have you fallen out again?" is a reasonable response (or even any of your business) based on a post of 2 members having fun together, but Shaznay replying 'why have you asked me this question?' isn't extremely reaffirming either.
I think she’s saying “why are you asking me to answer on behalf of someone else when you could just ask them directly? Is it because you want to cause trouble?”
By this point every one of them will be fed up with provocative questions from “fans”…
Wow. What a reply by Shaz..all is OK then but just shows we can't use insta posts to judge a situation.Love that answer from Shaznay.
I know that we all would love to have another new album soon but a break is not a bad thing after 2 new albums and many years touring. I'm sure they will be back when they will feel ready to
I just wish they would release the first 3 albums on vinyl in the meanwhile :)
A good answer from Shaz, for whatever reason that clearly hit a nerve, but a lot of this could have been avoided if they'd acknowledged the gig cancellations directly at the time instead of hearing the reason of "unforeseen circumstances" second-hand from promoters which ultimately could mean anything.
Regardless of the real reason, a simple "we've had a brilliant few years but we've decided to take a break to focus on our own lives and careers for a while, hope to see you all in the future" post to at least give the official line would have done the job. It's all felt quite cloak and dagger.
Have those comments since been deleted? I can't see them?
Anyway, with Shaznay saying she definitely hasn't fallen out with Appleton and it being mentioned in that recent Appleton into that All Saints were ''on a break'' I guess we just have to assume they all need a time out from the band.
