Now that I posted all the stats I wanted to, I can wrap this up properly.
Thanks a ton to all of you who participated/commented/interacted in any way! This has been a crazy couple of months healthwise, both mentally and physically, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering stepping down from hosting. But these reveals weirdly had become a beacon of positivity in all the uncertainty of 2020 and deep down I knew I couldn't give up on that. Of course keeping any momentum of elimination posts wouldn't have been possible without @Cutlery, who graciously agreed to be my back-up host midway through the rate. Again, massive thanks for that <3

Thank you @Phonetics Boy for running such a great rate. It's got me into some acts I'd heard of but never listened to properly (Anna Calvi, Angel Olsen). It feels good to be embracing my love for alternative music as well as pop. It was a genre that a few years ago I hadn't really touched and its opened me up to a whole range of artists and emotions.

And thank you to both of you for bringing those Mexican films to my attention as I have been looking for recommendations outside of the ones for classic golden age films that my parents have told me about.

I could write literal paragraphs about how much I have loved this rate and it’s amazing host @Phonetics Boy!! I know everyone who has followed along knows I’m not joking about that either!!! But really thanks to everyone who makes spaces like this so welcoming and so fun! This forum is such a wonderful escape sometimes and this thread was just that (even though y’all did my 11 so dirty!)
