Amelle - General Discussion

Discussion in 'Pop & Justice' started by Voicething, Nov 4, 2011.

  1. Amelle's debut album is coming, with her first release imminent.

'God Won't Save U Now' will not be a single due to a label decision (fools).

Peter Kirtley (Who produced for Amelle many years ago when she wrote "Strung Out" and the original version of "Now You're Gone", aswell as her Boo2 days) is on board as a confirmed producer, now as part of D-B-X.

As well as this, UK rapper Bigz has teamed up with Amelle on a track we should all be hearing soon and she has also recorded a track for Tinchy Stryder's new album.

Cant wait to hear it. Will be perfect oportunity to gain some attention again and some suga tune for us while we'll be waiting for new single

I'm all for Amelle doing this and laying forth the groundwork for a solo career. With her doing this and Heidi skating for Dancing On Ice, it leaves only Jade left but I'm sure we'll hear from her soon, possibly on Strictly Come Dancing next year.

    Ooooohhh cant wait!

Just give us solo Amelle already! It should have happened 2 years ago.

I asked when we will hear this new song and Amelle replied:

    "@Amelle_berrabah
@TheLastSugababe I think early next year. @BigzFlygerian is so talented man! Gonna be a BIG next year! U need to check out his stuff!"

Things are going to get going with this very soon, apparently. The proposed release strategy sounds a bit strange but fingers crossed should work. She deserves a smash. I can't say more than that as of now but by the sound of things this could be out there before we know it, hold tight!

Hopefully this means the end for 4.0.

I don't have much faith in her music taste though.

  9. Re: Amelle - Debut Single / General Discussion

Don't say the proposed release strategy is giving it away free again?

Is she going by just Amelle now? I like.

    Dot com.

I was wondering about this too? I'm not sure if I like... but its a common thing to do as a popstar.

  16. Re: Amelle - Debut Single / General Discussion

When she did the feature on Tinchy's Never Leave You I'm pretty sure she went by just Amelle, or at least single artwork wise.

But I am interested to see how her solo stuff will sound. I wonder if it's going to be a bit like urban or pop/r&b or if she's sticking to a pop sound for the most part.

She should use her surname, then if it flops, they can use the excuse that no one can spell her name.

  18. Re: Amelle - Debut Single / General Discussion

    Haha, imagine! Thankfully, its not.

  19. Re: Amelle - Debut Single / General Discussion

This could be very very interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Is this really happening? Bless it be. My favorite Babe!

I want some form of R&B dressed with the electric guitar and electro beats. Tracks like "Easy" and Gaga's "Government Hooker".

(I'm expecting this to be terrible, like 99.99% of ex-girl group member outputs).
