The Apple Music app on my iPhone has turned to complete shit in the last few weeks - constantly freezing and needing me to exit the app and restart it in order to play songs, the slightest actions like re-shuffling and scrolling through my 'Playing next' are bringing things to a complete standstill.

Is anybody else experiencing something similar or is it an issue with my phone (which is scarcely four months old at this point so I'd initially ruled that out)

Mine has crashed (in the sense that the app hasn't closed, but music completely stops playing and it shows nothing as Now Playing) maybe 3 times in the last week or so. I figured it was something I was doing while walking since it has only happened while on walks, but after the 3rd time I was like hmmm.

I’ve not personally experienced any issues with Apple Music but I do know that it and a few other Apple services, especially Weather have been playing up.

The duality of Apple, I don't know how delayed I was but I did the latest software on my Mac and the Music app has fixed so many bugs. No longer is it doing that horrible toggle-without-warning anytime you update a track or playlist in your library.

It's nuts how inconsistent Apple Music is across different devices. Why can I create a smart playlist on my MacBook but can't do anything like that on my phone?

It’s not just Apple Music, you can’t even shuffle a slideshow of pictures in the Photos app… they need to do a bit of market research and fix a lot of the small things that make the apps annoying.

So i'm mostly satisfied with Apple Music sound quality wise but i hate, hate, HATE that soundtracks are not showing on artist's profile page.

Does anyone's song ever cut out and they get a loud crackly sound or is that just my phone?

I hate that they completely abandoned the Windows app and we can't use Dolby Atmos on there.
