Thank you so much for all of this!

I might have found the actual problem... I'm coming down with a cold, and my hearing is shit in general right now. Everything sounds like my head is filled with like cotton candy. And today my mum came over and her voice sounded high pitched to me as well. So I'm going to let that all recover first and when I can hear properly again and the voices from my laptop still sound high pitched, I'll take the steps in this post. Cheers babe!
It is so reassuring that I'm not the only one who's gotten an ear infecky that made me question my hearing. It's only happened to me once -- a few months ago iirc -- but it fucking transposed notes and made everything sound like a cassette tape going bad. I only conclusively solved the riddle by plugging one ear and then the other but only after spending 30 minutes trying to troubleshoot my headphones. Mess.

Get feeling better soon sweetie! In an ideal world you can do fuck all and savor the sweet sweet nothingness of a proper rest day or three. Lemme know if you need any further technological or emotional support xx

I need a new laptop for uni, working with most adobe apps (indesign, illustrator, photoshop etc.) and also blender, programming stuff, video editing which my HP laptop from 2019 can't handle anymore and my ipad pro can't do all these tasks and I've been thinking about getting a macbook but Idk which one, macbook air would be more in my budget than the pro or can anyone recommend me windows alternatives?

MacBook Air with 32gb RAM (or 16 at the very minimum) should be totally fine for what you need and last you for a numbers of years, unless you're getting really complex into 3D rendering or heavy programming. I use Adobe suite on a 16gb M3 and she slays, but the M1/M2 are still totally fine.

Always get as much RAM and hard drive space as you can for your budget, and explore refurbished options to save a bit of cash too.

Not me waiting for the SE4 and them coming up with the 16e!

I might get it? It looks like it might have the best of both worlds, as I really don't care for these big ass phones with 30 cameras.

So I think I'm finally saying goodbye to my 1st gen SE (might hang onto it as an mp3 player), so assuming I'll actually use my newer iphone as an audio device as well.. which airpods should I get?
I don't think I want any pro's cause I hate those earbuds that go into your ear, so that leaves the 2, 3, 4 and 4 noisecancelling I think? Are the newer ones much better or just another way of Apple forcing people to upgrade?

(I'm pretty happy with the sound of my wired earpods, so at least don't wanna go a step back from that. Also might consider getting an adapter but I'm sorta afraid it will end up damaging the lightning port in the long run)

Would recommend the AirPod 4th gen. They’re redesigned, have better battery life and charging time and they have USB C

What's the advantage of the USB C part?
It’s the standardised port for all phones, laptops, headphones etc these days so you only need one cable to charge all your devices. Whereas if you were to get an older generation it would still have the lightning cable port

Ah right. Well I do still have the lightning cables and often charge multiple devices at once anyway, but the better quality is a pre!

Also currently deciding between a 128gb black 13 of 555 euros, or a 'starlight' one that's 30 euros cheaper and 256gb, but.. I'm not sure how I feel about that goldish glow..

Okay, on the verge of ordering an Iphone 15, but that USB-C port.. isn't that even worse when it comes to potential damage (and lint) than a lightning one?

Lightning ports and cables always break for me while I am very careful with all my stuff, and nothing I have breaks, tears or wears. USB-C has never let me down. Also get a dust cover perhaps? I got them now and solves have to clean the port often.

Not my new phone asking for tons of passwords for songs I 'collected' through the years.
Really praying this is only a one time issue..

I usually create a backup first and only restore it to the new device after I set it up. It allows you to have the pertinent information on your new phone but bypass all the iTunes music that you might have 'acquired'.

Just switched to iPhone after being a Google girlie for years

Remembering I save to my phone lots of inspo pictures I see on Instagram and it now for some reason requires fifteen minutes and three workarounds every time
