This being deep down on Page 4 and being released exactly 1 month from today is sending me.

Yeah, I dunno... The more info (and covers) we get, the less excited I'm getting, which is odd. I read that Track 4 is an interlude/intro to the title track, so judging by the partial tracklist we have already, and assuming there aren't more interludes, we're only getting 11 full songs.

I don't mind that if they're all amazing, but the near silence since Yes, And? along with the random note that she isn't releasing another single prior to the album isn't exactly radiating confidence. I hope she truly crafted some sort of ~immersive album experience~.

I agree with the above. I don't understand their decision to not release another pre-release song. The album weirdly seems sort of far away and the yes, and hype has already died down (both online and in my own listening history ddd).

The ugly covers definitely don't help matters too. Not to compare but Kacey's stunning visuals from today have been sticking in my brain and despite Taylor's Tortured Poets visuals being boring, they're still somewhat creating speculation and chatter.

I'm positive the album will be incredible if her track record is anything to go by, but this rollout feels meh.

Is she not releasing a second single prior to the album? While the single was #1 it quickly went down the charts. It would make sense to release a 2nd single prior to the album. I do wish she did a pre-release track, but think she'd get continued success with a second single.

I'm actually excited for a first listen after only one single. It was probably a choice she fought for (the label would want something else out) but most of her albums have come with tons of pre-release singles, so I'm happy for a change this far into her career. I remember basically all of Dangerous Woman being out by the release date.

Now why wasn't this a cover? Ms. Katia got me in a hatred chokehold, but at least she'll never be as bad as N*v!

I think some fans are moving on from caring about her success. Her peak was a lightning in a bottle moment ushered in by immense suffering and public sympathy (that I think speaks to her goodhearted-ness). But she's also the same girl who sabotaged eras due to feeling at odds with her celebrity and whose visual identity is impacted by a discomfort with being perceived by others. Her face is obscured on all 6 covers so far!

She peaked as the 2nd biggest pop girl of her generation and there's no urge of competition when she will never be the biggest woman in pop again in a post-Taylor world. She's not even the type of artist interested in a kind of Beyonce, Gaga style path of critical acclaim. I think she just sees herself as someone who makes music and wants to make little songs in her home studio with her dogs and farm animals.

I'd take a long interview or documentary about creating the album over anything meant to make "yes, and?" do better in the US. I'm interested in the album's sound when everything she was making with Max in 2022 had this... oddly pop-soul sound, while "yes, and?" isn't that at all. All the leaks and hearing her process in the studio have made me appreciate her as a creative in the recording studio and I just want more.

Can’t take Zach seriously after he was cringely publicly discussing “getting a boyfriend” and “losing his virginity” journey. Some shit we just don’t need to know.
