I've been to Stull, it was not even remotely scary. But I guess if you really allow yourself to get freaked out, it could potentially be? Just a tiny town with basically nothing there.

We all do, friend. We all do. Pardon me while I put on "Hair." (And I don't mean the Gaga one, don't be silly.)

Ariana's version of Last Christmas will obviously be very different from Ashley's. I bet Ariana's has some new lyrics before it drops into a funky Rascals beat for the chorus, as she tells her boy that he blew it last Christmas when he broke her heart (love is everything to this girl). Then, of course, there will be a modulation and lots of finger-fluttering high notes.

I didn't like The Way, and haven't heard any of the other songs from the album, but as a pop enthusiast, I kind of feel obligated to download it eventually. I don't feel like reading back at all the previous posts -- could someone please sum up what I should expect?

Give it a listen, but The Way is her best track and others kind of follow it's formula so you probably won't enjoy it.

For me, it's one of my albums of the year.

The whole album has a similar vibe to The Way, but Right There is the only song that feels like a direct link to it. Honeymoon Avenue is a glorious throwback, Tattooed Heart sounds like a big Broadway number, Piano and Lovin' It feel the most modern with their dance-based rhythms, though Better Left Unsaid is the only 'dance number'. Baby, I feels the most like Mariah. It's a great album; I played it too much at first so I went off of it for several months, but I'm back on it now and remember all of the reasons I love it.
