I hope she does too, but I'm nervous that the "young female singer" slot will be taken by Lorde, who seems more like the type of artist that the Grammys would shit themselves over. But any recognition for Ariana would be a big deal for a girl who came off a Nickelodeon show.

I was thinking this as well. There always seems to be at least one up-and-coming young female singer in the Best New Artist category and Lorde might've stolen her spot. I'm hoping for a nomination in any case.

do you have artists you irrationaly hate? Well Ariana is one of them for me. I have no reason to dislike her yet I think she is one of the most annoying creatures coming out of America. I even think I am too tall to irrationally dislike a little girl like that. She jsut annoys me so much. It's the voice, her songs, the hair her face. It's like a little Jessie J just even more annoying if that's possible.

That will never be possible, Jessie J is the single most annoying/self obsessed person the world has ever seen (no exaggeration),also how can you find Ariana annoying when you have Miley in your avi? I really dont see it, I think shes come across like a smart,nice, relaxed type of girl.

I was surprised the other day when Daily Mail had an article about her and a lot of the comments (including the top comments) echoed Paradise "I find her annoying but don't know why"

Agree with everything you said about Jessie J. But remember Ariana still has 5 more years to reach or not Jessie's standards. It's hard I know, be that much obnoxious but lets give Ariana time. About Miley she is not annoying she is quite cool. Plus she is for sure 10 times smarter than most people around her. Give her time too you will see I am right.
