Travis are the ultimate example of a Greatest Hits act for me, even though their actual singles collection wasn’t perfect (they should have waited a bit longer, I think). I love a lot of their singles, but a whole studio album? Meh.

I agree, in part, although I think The Man Who is mostly killer.

I was gonna mention her as well but the tracklist is just bad.

Where are “Most Girls” (and “You Make Me Sick” in the US edition), “God Is A DJ”, and “Feel Good Time”?!? I’d take those tracks over “Dear Mr. President” and “Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)".

I’d take of something like Nobody Knows for those (Leave Me Alone is one of my favourites) and missing Most Girls was a choice but otherwise it was pretty jam packed with great singles. Not like she released a 12 track greatest hits leaving of half of them

Whitney Houston is the perfect example of this for me - voice from the Lord, incredible singles, and mostly forgettable album tracks.

Some of her work is definitely more tailored to the adult contemporary format, which might seem boring compared to her dance and R&B hits. I did learn to to appreciate those songs as well, though.
