I’m gonna come out and say One Of Us is the best track. The way the intro misleads you into thinking it’s going to be a ballad, the amazing pre-chorus build up, the ‘sing at the top of your lungs whilst driving’ ABBA-esque chorus, wannado wannado wannado, the subtle but effective adlibs, and then that quiet, echoey, superfluous (but who cares?) whistle note at the end as the cherry on top.

Pop perfection.

The album streams don't seem too bad considering Heaven and Hell had about five songs that surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify by the time the album came out (Sweet But Psycho, So Am I, Kings and Queens, Salt, Who's Laughing Now) while Diamonds and Dancefloors doesn't have any unless Maybe You're The Problem crept over the line since I last looked.

I’m dog sitting for a friend in West Hollywood this weekend, went on a doggie walk down Santa Monica boulevard, I turn my head to check out the scene at Rocco’s gay club today and I see Ava Max and a drag queen on the center bench/table lipsyncing to Million Dollar Baby with a random guy shooting a money gun at them. It took me a minute to absorb it all.
