It's not great I don't think the cover is as bad as some of y'all are making out.

Yeah, it’s not. At worst, it looks like a Pantene advertisement. There could have been some shoulder/hand action, so it doesn’t look like she’s just been beheaded, and definitely another visit to whoever did the typography for something more fresh. The current situation is giving me Catwoman (2004) logo. Other than that it’s... fine.

Fun fact: the album cover was made by Charlotte Rutherford, who's responsible for Pop 2 & FROOT artworks and photo shoots. I wonder what went wrong there?
The bills were not enough for Charlotte to create a better thing, maybe? I mean, I don't quite get the hate. It's not the best thing in the world, but it's not that horrible either. A textless version makes it up for me.

I think it's fine, even the semi-cheap typography kinda works.

The only thing *off putting* is the on the nose concept but I've learned to enjoy her career for what it is.

The cover is just so basic, it’s almost like she’s trying to intentionally deliver the most basic cover art. I don’t know why her cover arts are so odd - I can’t believe she changed the one for freaking me out to a horror show.

While we're still on the album cover topic, I much prefer this edit.
I think it's the lack of background that gives the slight hair commercial feel.

Not too sure on the 'hell' side, but the sky looks really nice (and actually in keeping with Charlotte Rutherford's editing style).

This is amazing. A bit Coverlandia but let's face it, that aesthetic suits Ava.
