I think Sara has said she reworked the song? (it was originally called Cruel) so she may have her own idea on what it's about. There's a similar differing of opinion on Robert DeNiro's Waiting.
Anyone know if we are getting a Cruel Summer 40 release? A nice 7", 12" and CD Single would be fantastic but might be too much to ask for. I will disappointed if it is just a digital download and not remixes.
Good point, Siobhan's version of the lyrics are much darker. Keren and Sara just say the song is about escapism.
I don't know if she tells a different version of events - or just doesn't remember.
