  1. Yeah. I'm being cautiously optimistic. DC needs a proper plan in order to create their movie universe. They are rushing it and it might be a mess. They really need a Kevin Feige figure to spearhead everything.
    Tribal Spaceman likes this.
  2. Geoff Johns is largely reliable but so unexciting, as a comics fan. Maybe in 2006 but not now. His Justice League origin from 2011 was so unutterably plain and dull.

  3. Tribal Spaceman

    Tribal Spaceman Oh, OK.

Ideally every DC movie between Batman v Superman and Justice League would introduce one character or kick-start a particular story thread, so that everything started to fall into place. As Suicide Squad seems to be more focused on the world of Batman, and Wonder Woman is a period piece, I don't see that happening unfortunately, but it would have been great.
  4. I'm kinda hoping that them NOT doing the Marvel thing of interlinking, solo intros is a good thing..? Just to be a point of difference? I don't know. Grasping at straws. Interesting if these rumours going around of Margot Robbie pushing for a Harley-helmed, female focused team movie go through. Can't see it happening but would be cool. Harley is basically DC's flagship character beside Batman right now..! Not sure which title's are still running but off the top of my head in the last 2 years she's had her self-titled comic, Harley's Black Book, Harley and Power Girl and now Harley and the Gang of Harleys. Not sure what sales are actually like, but she is DC's Deadpool, completely.

Article asking if Harley's replaced Wondy as leading lady.
  5. Tribal Spaceman

    Tribal Spaceman Oh, OK.

I wouldn't want anything as 'in your face' as Marvel's approach, ("Oh hi, I'm gonna be in the next movie.") but if threads could start to emerge in prior movies I think that would be great.

I'd love a female team movie. Fingers crossed they stay faithful to Harley and keep her sense of fun.
  6. Yesss!!! I would love a Birds of Prey movie.
