Love the song - radio 2 should eat it up. I don’t mind the artwork at all. Nice to see her trying something interesting. Will buy the vinyl if there’s a Uk option.

I really like this, not at all what I expected from Belinda Carlisle and Diane Warren in 2023, the production is great and the song is a real earworm. First song that has done anything for me since All God's Children. Belinda looks great in the video too. It's nice to have her back.

When covers like these pop up they always make me wonder don’t these artists really have anyone with any taste around them? Where was Belinda’s son where these artworks were ok’d? Oh well.

But the actual song – now that is a total, unexpected bop. I absolutely love it! It’s SO much better and fresher than I ever thought a new Diane Warren / Belinda song would or could be. Actually I already like it more than I’ve ever liked I Get Weak (which I found a very appropriately titled 2nd single following up the brilliance of Heaven Is A Place On Earth…).

Now give me more. Plus new artworks.

I hope the record label/Belinda have realistic expectations on how the EP will chart/sell, and it doesn’t influence any full album not getting released if the EP doesn’t do well.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if the full album is more talk than something that will happen anytime soon.

Her son? Is her son a designer? Maybe he liked it.

It’s Diane Warren’s own label. Belinda already confirmed the producer of the album, and it’s not Diane. So she’s been working on it or setting it up one way or another. Labels agreed to release Belinda’s last two albums. I find it hard to believe she wouldn’t be able to find a label for an album which has her going back to her English-language pop roots. I would think that alone would be a selling point for a company rather than another French album or an album of chants.
