    The Family Stone
It is a bit flawed, but it made me tear right up at the end. Families suck but that's why you love them.

    Love Actually
Such a cliche these days, but it is quite phenomenal.

    Batman Returns
The best Batman movie. And it takes place during Christmas.

    Home Alone
This became a bit of a Christmas tradition at my place.

    Edward Scissorhands
Not really a Christmas movie, but it has snow and I always watch it at Christmas. Bite me.

    Christmas With The Kranks
    Home Alone 3
  3. Muppets Christmas Carol is the dog's bollox! I can watch it in June and still feel Christmassy (mainly cos in the UK it's still freezing outside, grey and miserable, even in June!)

  4. Muppet Christmas Carol is my favourite film EVER. I even had a screening with 8 friends from uni last year as they'd never seen it before.

I've never even heard of it before. Time to get Netflix.

I don't know it it is the best movie, but last year I watched Beauty & The Beast: An Enchanted Christmas on Christmas Eve.

  7. Muppet's Christmas Carol is the best yeh. I love when one of the muppets flips the bird at scrooge.

  8. I love Muppet's Christmas Carol too and it's surprisingly faithful to the original.

I'm quite a fan of Bad Santa actually, ha.

I remember being pretty dissapointed by the Muppet Christmas Carol because it wasn't as fun or ridiculous as the other Muppet movies I'd seen before it..
    However, singing vegetables = win.
  10. Nice List:

    A Christmas Story
    Miracle on 34th Street

    Un conte de Noël
    The Polar Express

    Naughty List:

    Four Christmases
    Fred Claus
  11. WTF!!!! You hate Raymond Briggs The Snowman, its my fave Christmas film ever!!
  12. It's creepy as fuck: a giant snowman comes and snatches a child from his bed in the middle of the night!?!?!

Plus I loathe that Aled Jones song.

  13. OH MY GOD, you noticed it too!!! When Beaker is at Scrooge's door, he totally sticks his finger up at him doesn't he!?

I confess that I've always thought Jingle All the Way was rather funny actually.

Home Alone is probably the best, but it's simply a great movie regardless.

I love The Snowman but the ending is so sad. He does show up in 'Father Christmas' though, so it seems he came back to life the following winter. Hooray.

And it's actually Peter Auty that sings 'Walking in the Air', Aled Jones just covered it a few years later and stole his thunder. What a bugger.
  17. It's a Wonderful Life is the best Christmas movie of all time by a ginormous margin.
  18. You literally beat me to it!

    This. BY A MILE.
  19. I confess. I adore bad Christmas films like Christmas With The Kranks.
