It's giving classic Janet Jackson, Bell Biv Devoe - Poison, MC Hammer - Too Legit To Quit... instant feeling of familiarity without it really being like anything else either.

It definitely feels alarming. The small production changes in the remix towards the end give it a more 80s feel. The beginning of the original feels like an 8Bit Bowser fight is incoming, followed by something that could easily be from a spy/superhero movie trailer.

I love everything about it.

Yeah, the song has a 70s or 80s throwback--almost cheap pulp or action movie--feel to it. The way the production on this album conjures up universes of imagery makes the lack of visuals that much more disappointing.
