BEYONCÉ - act i RENAISSANCE

Yeah, I didn’t want to say if it was a sample but the keyboard riffs are very similar to Any Time, Any Place. It could be an interpolation.
Which you know is actually quite fun to think about in the context of Renaissance, which is so sample heavy and referential.

It's also amazing to just hear remixes and part IIs in 2023 that are still in the lineage of 90s r&b. Like YES give me a whole new vocal, give me new vocal flourishes, bridges, and a completely different vibe.

Well, I just listened to the album version of Cuff It, the accapella, the instrumental, and the Wetter remix in that order and it feels like I've experience entire galaxies of music. The level of excellence on display on this project still leaves me in disbelief.

The mere thought of not landing tour tickets and now the ATOY loss and it looking like the visuals have indeed been scrapped at this point... makes me ill.

'Cuff It' still refusing to budge/hitting new peaks nearly six months on from the trend sparking is just... amazing. It'll surpass 400m on Spotify in Feb.

I know singles are far from Bey's focus, but she could absolutely snatch another summer hit off the album. Sadly, it feels like 'Alien Superstar' will go down as the fan-favourite that never made it as a single, but I genuinely think 'Heated' would be an ideal choice. It is the go-to girl for summer parties/BBQs/club nights etc.

Wait because I'm now seeing that 'America Has A Problem' has been added to a bunch of playlists?
