The album drop felt pretty huge, then the reviews were mostly amazing and now because there’s been no tour to follow up the momentum it just seems to have passed by.

I agree the album doesn't feel like an AOTY front-runner in the slightest by now, but between the Beyoncé having been robbed multiple times narrative and Cowboy Carter being the type of album that likely appeals to quite a wide range of Grammy voters I could see it still getting it.
