BEYONCÉ - RENAISSANCE World Tour 2023

Use her track record for previous tours + add in the best album of her career. Not a GP-appeasing celebratory performance of the opening of a hotel.
Far from being a hits collection, the Dubai set was basically a ballads collection with some messaging hidden in the middle of it. Only the last section was GP-appeasing and I love that she did that.

I got tickets for Koln, Germany and it states the show starts at 18h30. I'm looking for trains to return to Berlin on the same night and I found some on 23h55. Since I never been to huge shows in Europe, I'm wondering if you think it's safe or maybe I should wait until the morning trains (starting at 4am)

I would look for a place to stay, I can't speak for Germany specifically but usually it's quite the hassle to find transportation form a stadium concert where you might have to wait quite some time for room on trains/buses etc. Forget getting a cab. Catching a train at 11.55 seems optimistic.

Edit: also, Beyoncé will in no way be on stage at 6.30, she'll be on at 8 or 9 probably.

I don't think you're gonna make a train back to Berlin that late! They are good in their public transport but add all the people and transportation hell after a stadium show? Nah. Counts for every place.

I think it's probably doable if you didn't mind dipping out a couple of tracks before it finishes and grabbing a cab to the Hauptbahnhof, but yeah it's a little risky depending on stuff like traffic. None of the previous shows at that stadium have gone on any later than 10.30pm according to SetlistFM.

I don't think I could ever leave any place while Beyoncé is still performing. I just checked and the walking distance between the Stadium and the Hauptbahnhof is 1h20min. If the show really goes from 19h-21h or even 20h-22h, I think I can make it to Hauptbahnhof before 23h55. It feels a bit tight but I guess I'm just addicted to this sort of rush.

Maybe it's best to wait until the first concert to know more about waiting times and concert length before commiting to the train tickets?

(I'm a bit worried because, since I'm also going to the Hamburg concert, I really don't wanna miss 4 consecutive days of class and have to write down BEYONCÉ as the reason on my entschuldigung)

You should definitely stay over night.
The trains are full after the concert and it could take some time to depart from the stadium.

It also depends on the security company that will be responsible for this concert.
There was so much trouble before and after Chromatica Ball in Düsseldorf, the last ones left at 1:00 am according to social media.

Could be that the support act will start at 18:30 but definitely not the main concert. I think OTR II tour ended around 23:00 there..

Cologne/ Bonn area trains are awful and always get cancelled / delayed, I’ve always had issues there. I wouldn’t count on that train even making it.

Wait for a morning train, if you realistically (working the next day etc) can, sis. Otherwise you’ll spend the whole evening counting when you have to leave or if you’ll make it. Really.
