While the rate's reveals are over, there are a couple of housekeeping things left for me to do. I'll do them later tomorrow as tonight, I want to indulge in a glass of white wine, Nando's and a movie to unwind.
Before I leave for my little break...
It's been an insane year, once again. I really love hosting these, even amidst a Masters degree and working, it was a great source of inspiration. Once again, I found myself looking back at these albums and really admiring them further than before. This is, to me, the best part about hosting these rates: being able to really dig into an album, front to back, alongside you. Of course, this year brought some of the best of the best, and being able to dig into them really was a pleasure.
I do apologise for how long it took me to get through with the rate. I did not expect it to take me half a year, but here we are. It was an insane amount of workload and balancing that with university and everything else life threw at me was wild, but truly worth it. Regardless, with this in mind, I think I will not be hosting solo next year. I am currently looking for a co-host for the next rate. There's a couple of people in mind who I will contact.
Despite the hardships, I
adored doing this and cannot wait to do it again.
