It’s one of the extras, absolutely. Lizzo still has a song in, yes?
Well, yes!

This is the song with the most 10s so far! I'm intrigued to hear the reaction to this leaving now.

I'm far from someone who actively enjoys Lizzo's music. I don't know, nothing has really grabbed me like it has for some. It's a shame because I love her personality and how... fun her entire persona is? I don't know. She just seems great. I've openly said that "About Damn Time" is better than "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)" for me, but I do think there's a lot of good moments in this song. The finale of the song is really solid. I tend to find a lot of songs that don't quite know how to finish (see the recent release by Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris which just... ends) and that kind of kills the song for me, but here, it feels like the song is building to this brilliant finale. These are the moments that I love in pop music which remind me why I adore the genre and this is one of those. The chorus is a bit of a classic, it's catchy and does her job. I think my biggest issue is with the production which feels a bit limp, I'm sawry.

Considering this song fails to inspire much in me, I will let @Jonathan27 say the most, who gave this their 11. He comments:

"I had 'Heated' penciled in as my 11 from the moment this rate was announced, and quite frankly if I went by any of the metrics I typically adhere to for these things my 11 would’ve remained there. But this year has felt particularly unique for me, so I’m instead choosing to throw a little extra weight behind this mega bop. '2 Be Loved' sounds like a Lizzo song in the sense that it showcases a bulletproof ear for melody like the best pop singles while also sliding easily into the rolodex of feel good anthems. What makes '2 Be Loved' stand out is the confessional nature of the lyrics: it’s like Lizzo reached an epiphany in the recording studio and immediately got into the booth. It’s infectious without being saccharine, honest without being overly earnest. What elevates it beyond simply being a great pop song is that final key change and the song’s coda: “yesterday I would have run away and I don’t know why” feels like a subtle revelation because she doesn’t deign to interrogate the reasons why she’s now capable of affording herself grace. It’s enough to move forward and relinquish the past for what it was rather than letting it define the future."

HIGHLIGHTS
Megan Thee Stallion - Her
Megan Thee Stallion - Plan B
These being the only highlights left feels very correct.

Proud of Mother Beyonce for still having her entire album remaining.

The Midnight songs left are still solid. Maroon could leave next from that album.

I still don't remember the Motomami songs well enough by name to know or care. I remember liking some of those a lot though.

Crash is due for a cull, particularly YUCK (takes after its' name), and Used To Know Me (please leave). CRASH and Good Ones could leave anytime as well.

I still think we could go a good 10 eliminations before anything from Renaissance leaves, but if we need to sacrifice any I could say goodbye to Move or Energy.

Plan B
has maybe seen the end of its' road for me, but Her should stick around til top 25 I hope.
