BIG POP GIRLS 2024

Beyoncé, Taylor - alone, singular, paths unlike any other, they have fans because they have fans. Sarah and John will buy tickets, complain they knew no songs, and leave halfway through for the sitter.
Dua, Sabrina, Ariana - Generally loved by radio, broad appeal, crowd pleasers. Trent (faggot) from Rolling Stone loves them, Bjorg (homosexual) from Pitchfork will quietly give them 7+ scores. Sarah and John will bop to "Espresso" and "Cold Heart"
Chappell, Billie - Loved by every Eden (NB) in the world which makes enough noise for the mainstream to pay attention. Trent thinks they're too much/boring and Bjorg really admires them as songwriters and the production.
Charli - Eden and Bjorg taking turns doing coke off of Trent's perpetually arched, Brat-bethonged back. Sarah and John not invited and don't want to be.
Not this being an early contender for post of the year I-

Obviously it wouldn't be fair for the other albums, but if you could rate brat based on your favourite version of each song between the original and the remix, it would be practically all 10s for me. The album as is is still super strong though, even if not every single song is going to blow your mind (which, to be fair, I can't think of many albums that doesn't apply to) I'm pretty sure it'll be getting my highest average.

Oh this for sure would have snatched another 10 from me.

Bullseye except for Billie, whose core audience seems to remain teenaged and female-centric; the general public also seems to champion this album in a more-or-less organic way. I think the initial roll-out was painting a different picture, more tuned into what you describe, but that was ruined once Birds of a Feather effectively cannibalised Lunch. Between that and Wildflower's true-to-name sleeper hit status, the general public's perception of Billie has probably shifted a bit – less moody urchin, perhaps more lovelorn/conventional hitmaker?
