BIG POP GIRLS 2024

When the top twenty ends up being just Eternal Sunshine, Radical Optimism and Brat, then what?

And American Requiem, 16 Carriages, Riverdance and Bodyguard.

I like The Bolter but always found the chorus of Fresh Out the Slammer pretty irritating to listen to.
I don’t think people are punishing Taylor for slow/mid-tempo songs per se - I just think a lot of the songs on this album didnt resonate with people.
I like TTPD as a whole but found it hard to score many of the tracks above a 7 because there’s too much meandering melody-wise and not enough to distinguish them from each other.

The Dua cull needs to come and go as quickly as this forum’s attention span to the album did.
Ah yes, because if there was anything that didn't hold the forum's attention span, it was the Radical Optimism era! No one talked about it at all! Apart from to call it a flop eight times a day... when the first two singles outstreamed the entirety of Brat. Apart from to wonder if she could sell out one date at Wembley Stadium... when she sold out two and a US arena tour, when people were speculating if people would even stop to hear her busk in a New York subway station. Apart from to share their super articulate, "Era not work me for! I read tweet from @Vasilios who retweet a retweet from Gay Man #6,715 and say so!" takes that was basically the equivalent of rats being told by bigger rats there was an earthquake was coming so they better flee to Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. And apart from BPG 2024 on this same forum, where so far Dua has lost... under two and a half minutes of music! Have the doctors in the ER managed to staunch your fave's hemorrhage yet? Let me know if they do!!!

That's a lot of words that still aren't talking about the album itself, presh. What of the quality of the musique, darling? No, please, let's make sure to squeeze in another 100 pages twisting ourselves into knots to justify her book club receiving more promo than the 4th single so we avoid talking about how Taylor and Sabrina aren't the only ones with an album in this rate that sounds like background elevator music.

As if I care about Radical Floptimism and brat's race to be a demon twink's personality for 6 months!

Miss Lipa has the perfect life honestly. Model looks, always on vacation, great performer, lovely personality, her contemporaries love her, she avoids controversy like the plague [PJcigsgate excluded] and now for a change she has a hot man too. She can have a couple of bland songs, as a treat.

Well no, Fresh Out The Slammer was top 20 worthy. The weird production choices (especially near the end) feel quite inspired for a Taylor x Jack song. Anything on TTPD that sounds like a progression from evermore is a win to me.

Chloe et al and The Albatross also deserved better.
