BIG POP GIRLS 2024

Cowboy Carter truly is an album elevated by an incredibly skilled singer.

Can't quite decipher if this is genuine praise or actually a backhanded compliment nn

Well, listening to Tortured Poets for the 4th time (in full) for this rate, and my personal edit of the album went from 9 songs to 15, so I guess there's a full album I enjoy in there after all... it still doesn't bother the top-half of her overall discography for me though (what I like here, I feel she's mostly done before but better).

Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)
Down Bad
Guilty As Sin?
I Can Do It With a Broken Heart
The Alchemy

I Hate It Here

The Prophecy
*just added*
The Tortured Poets Department
I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)
The Black Dog
The Albatross
How Did It End?
The Bolter

To a lesser degree, Cowboy Carter would have also benefitted for me with a few edits. And Short N Sweet really is the most mixed of bags for me... dddd All the other full albums however, I struggled to find songs lower than a 7. Truly a delightfully stacked year in pop. Definitely the most 10s I've ever given in a BPG rate.
