BIG POP GIRLS 2024

How about thinking of Oh Louisiana and Desert Eagle as parts of the multiple-genre journey of YAYA that leads straight into RIIVERDANCE? I know that's right! The way some of you are doing the absolute MOST by kicking out this incredibly inoffensive track before getting rid of Tate McRae's dumpster fire or whatever five identical Anthology tracks were clogging Taylor's hard drive.

Let's be serious please, saying this interlude is in any way, shape or form better than greedy or any of Taylor's songs is just crazy talk. It was lucky to last as long as it did.

Beb, the whole Britney Jean was included in the rate despite it not featuring Britney herself fff.
dd I think I read somewhere that Britney provided bits and pieces of (mostly) backing vocals throughout the album except on that song so I didn't want to be too harsh.

Oh I'M HIS, HE'S MINE got a 6.5 from me and is definitely the best Katy song in the rate (not saying much of course ddd). The production is fairly boppy, the pre-chorus is nice and my favorite vocal moment from her across the three songs, and I like the contrast between her and Doechii. No big loss though.
LIFETIMES was my least favorite song in the rate and got a 4 for me. I mostly just think it's very boring and tired, and feels like a million artists could have released it. Like it's probably fine in the grand scheme of things but it just doesn't have anything particularly interesting in the production, melodies or lyrics. The 4 is pretty much entirely for Katy's voice. Good riddance. I do find it hilarious that Katy was out completely before anything else and didn't make it to #143.
And I do think both Katy songs would have gotten at least a few more points from me if Luke wasn't attached to them.
Oh. I Love You, I'm Sorry got a 9 from me. I didn't expect it to last long but yikes. Yeah it's fairly basic and I do think Taylor could release a more interesting version of it, but I still like the melodies throughout, her voice is pleasant and the lyrics are nice enough. It's a solid package overall even if there's a hundred songs like it that are also better. I enjoyed the songs in Gracie's set on my date at The Eras Tour but I haven't listened to any of her music since then.
Oh Louisiana is my lowest score on COWBOY CARTER with a 6 and honestly I like the production a lot and I don't mind that it's short but the vocals are low-key extremely grating. It probably would have been an 8-9 if Bey actually sang it herself.
Overall a pretty good start for me. Woohoo!

It was lucky to outlast... Katy Perry and Gracie Adams?

Let's be serious please.

The interlude is mid, but some of the tracks still in are outright bad.
