Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT

So, first listen. What a unique album. Dare I say, it's very artsy and cinematic sounding? Outside of Lunch and maybe The Greatest, I hear zero singles, but that isn't a problem for me. I'm intrigued by how many of the songs are meandering and somewhat formless... They just keep shifting and morphing throughout. She isn't trying to be trendy or cool, I still love how she marches to the beat of her own drum artistically. The album cover's a perfect fit for how the album feels.

It sounds like Billie's teasing a second part to the album at the very end of Blue, so that's all I'm saying for now 'til we're out of the woods...

Initial favorites: The Greatest, Blue, The Diner, Chihiro
