Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT

I don't have anything to add really that hasn't been said already. This is by far her best album. Not a weak track in the bunch. It makes me want to go back and re-listen to the first 2 cuz they never made a huge impression on me outside a song here and there.

The run of Skinny >Lunch > Chihiro> Birds of Feather is probably the best on an album this year yet.

I don’t think it’ll be a double album, rather another separate album might come a lot sooner than people think. Some were saying by the end of the year. But I imagine she’ll wait to confirm anything if it’s even legit and not her just taking the piss out of people who always demand more music.
Yes milk the Grammy eligibility period!

Not they kinda whacked her.

That site has been giving faux-edgy DeViL's AdVoCaTe energy lately, so I'm not even moved.

Interesting that Ms. Swift is now suddenly shipping out the But Daddy I Love Him CDs when they were scheduled for 5/31. Wonder what that could be about!

1) L’amour de ma vie
2) Birds of a feather
3) The greatest

The only song I’m not fond of is The Diner. Not that it’s actively bad.

I'm going to say something that will result in backlash (surprise) but I feel as if, as lovely of a track as it is, Birds of a Feather feels so... could be sung by someone else? Whereas every other track on this album could only be recorded by Billie. I find on every play through I skip it so that I can listen to something more interesting.

It could be a Taylor song.

I have to agree with this part in the Pitchfork review.
and Jon Castelli’s brightly saturated mix leaves the extraneous elements to fight for space in the more crowded sections
This guy has such an awful track record and has committed mixing hate crimes. The album sounds so flat in some parts.
