Björk - Fossora

he/him
No but I swear to you little fagurts... Freefall was a skip for me on the first five or six listen-throughs of Fossora – up until two days ago, when it slapped me in the face with a girthy pleurotus! Those string ostinatos at the end just made me feel a shred of vertigo or something I swear

Ladies, can anyone point me out to an European store that sells the final mastered version of the album on CD? The one with the El Guincho Mix of Ovule and the other little changes in several songs. Thank you.

You can get it at any store! The early master was used only to print vinyls. The only difference between the Fossora on CD and the Fossora on streaming services is the presence\lack of Ican Harem's vocals in the second half of the title track.

For the completists out there, the repressed vinyl with the finalized songs\credits\artwork is set to be released next month.

So El Guincho's Mix is present on the CD, right? I also do not know, for the life of me, where are those 'vocals' by Gabber's Ican on either the vinyl or digital edition of the album.

Thanks a lot for your help!

It is!

You can hear them here. All tea all shade, I'll admit "vocals" is a bit of a big word for what he actually does.

The vinyl features yet another slight variant of "Fossora", without Ican and that lo-fi effect on Björk's vocals.

Just came back from her Perth show and it was lowkey messy and highly iconic thanks to the said messiness nn. I was sitting pretty much right up to the stage (she was less than 5 meters away from me at some point!) and during Arisen My Senses she was visibly getting pissed because of wardrobe malfunction (she couldn’t take her gloves off and kept shaking her hands off trying to get them off) then realised she missed a singing part so just proceed to yell out a random high note into the mic instead nn. From then onwards it was pretty evident she just had it. She kept pacing around and went to the side stage sipping on her alcoholic beverage. Iconic! Her anger was apparent throughout the rest of the show and she utilised that rage to belt out those high, angry notes (Sue Me… what a moment) and honestly? She sounded absolutely fantastic. She barely said anything, no costume change and then she didn’t show up for encore. She really served Australian spirit.

I been to a couple Björk shows and she never did costume changes ever and she never speaks really. Her bursting out "Look at the Suuuun" in Chile and her having a small "Happy to be here" speech in Berlin after Covid postponed the show were magical moments recently. I experienced the Berlin moment live and I was blown away realizing that in like 10 shows I never heard her say more than Thank You sometimes. It felt extremely special.

It fits her whole thing with not taking pictures with fans or give autographs because it is about the art not about her.
