"L.E.S. Artistes" has better be in the top ten, y'all.
Gonna cut a binch if "I'm a Lady" doesn't atleast make top 20.
the end of the today's trilogy....
who could it be?
take a wild guess~

My Superman - 7.474
Highest score: 10 x 5 (@A&E, @Heaven on Earth, @LE0Night, @soratami, @Jwentz)
Lowest scores: 6 x 4 (@ThisIsRogue, @happiestgirl, @JamesJupiter, @Remorque)
5.5 x 2 (@TRAVVV, @Petty Mayonnaise)
5 x 1 (@Sanctuary)
4 x 2 (@kermit_the_frog, @theelusivechanteuse)
My score: 7.5
Track background: Track six on Santigold, "My Superman" was produced by John Hill and Diplo.
My thoughts: Pleasant. Nowhere near as exciting as much of the rest of the album, though the production certainly picks in the final quarter.
Your thoughts:
@Sprockrooster - I feel like this would have worked better as an interlude than a whole song.
@TRAVVV - Not to keen on the actual song itself, but the production is interesting enough. I particularly like those “hey”s in the background.
@Jwentz - This song was my introduction to Santi as I STAN Sioxsie and the Banshees, and hearing she sampled them made me tune in. The entire experience was very Ilovethissong.gif at :01.
@digitalkaiser - I love this song, when I first heard it I was also going through a hardcore Siouxsie and the Banshees phase and this song really channels “Red Light” by them, it’s almost a bit uncanny if you listen to them together I was so impressed at this reference at the time, shows a real knowledge of genre and it fits so well on this album to boot! She even has a similar vocal inflection in this song! TALENT.
@Bangers&Bops - That dystopic futuristic love song from a diva that doesn't need saving bop
@ohnostalgia - The atmosphere here is so heavy and moody I feel weighted down, sluggish, luxuriously still. I could sit here forever.
@constantino - This is wonderful and I love the melody, but I can’t pretend that it isn’t a slight quality dip after the incredible run from L.E.S Artistes to Creator.
@Remorque - The production on this one is the highlight for me. Her performance isn't really the strongest, yet I've really grown to like this...
@Solenciennes - The eerie production and the unsettling delivery of the titular lyrics is well executed.
@Trouble in Paradise - This may be only song that I enjoy more now than I did in high school. I remember not feeling similar to "Starstruck" in that there was never any momentum or hook to the song. Now the chorus lodges itself in my head and I notice how clever the lyrics are.
Live performance(s):
Going for that highest album average like
I feel like this is top 3."L.E.S. Artistes" has better be in the top ten, y'all.
I'm delighted that Nude Beach a Go-Go is still in, bop!
My thoughts: Boring as hell. I haven’t played this in iTunes in over three months, which I don’t see that changing ANYTIME soon. That being said, I still think it’s a great song. Just not one I care to have involved with this album, very much like that other mistake, “Crust in the Wind”.
My score: 8
That being said, I still think it’s a great song.
