Take Me Apart is obviously an incredible album but the ratio of tracks left to the other albums is just incorrect.
I both agree and disagree. I think it's down to recency, for sure, but her album is a masterclass in how to produce a brilliant debut through a multitude of lenses.

That being said, "Onanon" and "Better" are doing the mad absolute most out'chea.

I love 2 On but literally what. Even Watch Me Work belongs here more. I think I was still generous because I wanted to vote strategically for our girl, but I would love for something more representative of her to be here even if this is her biggest song.

Those need to go before top 10 if it was up to me; the rest are all 9+ (including my 11 who seems to be hanging on)

Track background: Broke with Expensive Taste’s fourth official “single”, “Ice Princess” was produced by AraabMuzik, who Azealia herself name-checks nearly twenty seconds into the track, and contains a sample of DJ Morgan Pages track, “In the Air”, as well as an interpolation of a portion of that track’s hook, which then became “Ice Princess”’s own refrain. It was written by New Work, Abraham Orellana, Kevin James & Azealia Banks. A video for the track premiered on March 31st, 2015, on Azealia’s VEVO channel, directed by WeWereMonkeys. The video was first teased on February 1st, 2015, with more information/controversy following shortly thereafter.

Azealia speaks about the song below:

My thoughts: This is my lowest-rated song on BWET, which I guess could say many things about me. The first and last one being that, yes, I am always correct. Lmao. Nah, serious though, this song has such a swagger, honestly... but I’ve never loved it as a whole. Like, I’ll definitely listen to it, but I also wouldn’t pick it first. With that being said tho, its parts are so amazing in their own right, especially when analyzed alone: I think her version of the chorus is terrific, as I fucks with anything that Azealia sings; while its verses have some of the most attitude that Azealia’s shown on tape. Overall tho, it perplexes me in ways but yet, not in others, that it’s gotten this far. Fair game though, I suppose.

Your thoughts:
@Sprockrooster (10) - A true masterpiece and the standout from this album. So many layers in the beat and in the chorus you discover something every listen again.

@Bangers&Bops (10) - This so-catchy-it-hurts, dancefloor-ready banger is amazing. The chorus explodes into bouncy, melody-driven EDM territory—and if it doesn't make you move your head like a tweaked-out bobblehead doll, nothing will.

@KingBruno (10) - Such a good flow.

@Posh Spears (9) - The entire first verse is one of her best performances ever. The chorus is a slight let down though.

@He (10) - I almost yelled when this song came on. THAT FUCKING KYLIE POP CHORUS. It’s ridiculous how Azealia mixed these two sides of her, it’s so freaking lush. I live every time this comes on.

@ohnostalgia (10) - I can’t seem to stay warm; shivering, shivering, always shivering. But there’s power in the frigid air, resilience born through windchill values, snowfall warnings, frozen windows, salted streets. “Corrosive, the coldest, the city is a tundra, stay focused...” stay focused, stay focused.

@constantino (10) - A festive bop. No Christmas dinner is complete with a touch of icey witchhop. The subtle nods to the summer-y Ibiza dance pop in the middle 8 of what is otherwise an stone cold seasonal pussy-popper...can she leave me be?? The video is also excellent.

@Solenciennes (8) - Yas.

@Trouble in Paradise (7) - I really like the chorus, the verses aren't really my taste but they have some solid lines.
