First things first, my apologies for letting this thread go quiet and for not doing a tagging round earlier. I recently got surgery and I overestimated my capabilities to do stuff, so my focus has been on my recovery and barely anything else fff.

Anyway, there's still a little less than three weeks left to send your ballots, and I received one so far. If some of you aren't sure to make it to the current deadline, I'll definitely think about extending the voting period.

It's also time to get this back on track! I'll start posting album write-ups later this week too.

It's interesting to revisit this part of her discography, because I have such a mixture of nostalgiac bliss *and* dissappointment from experiencing the rollout of each of these albums and singles. So the distance has helped give me some clarity on this era of BoA.

Currently I have a score for each song and I'm just refining my scores. There’s definitely more consistency than the debut era, so there aren't any obvious baby BoA vocals/SMTown retro extras that are the first up on the chopping block. Rather there are lots of middling 6s, 7s, and 8s and I can feel the moments where the constant output and juggling three music markets started to dillute some of the music.

I'm a little unfamiliar with MADE IN TWENTY and THE FACE but I might give this a go. No promises! Let me help out the english album a bit since there are haters in this thread.

Honestly, the only criticism I have for the English album is that it's a bit faceless. Other than that it's pretty good pop/dance record with some very high highs.
