The two songs she composed for her last album were no ballads.
I forgot about LET ME! But Ordinary Day was a ballad... So it could go either way. In any way, that new promo picture isn't very exciting, is it?
Not exciting at all and am I the only one who think there's something off in her face? I can't recognize her. She looks like a prettier (way prettier) version of KOKIA.
Poster for her comeback showcase
I thought the same.
Only One sounds gorgeous!
Sounds beautiful! I honestly wouldn't mind an entire album in that direction.

The Nervo twins have been busy with Asian artists lately...
Yes, The Nervo Twins are doing really well in Asia. And wow, I'm happy for Karen she got a song with SM Entertainment. She wanted to write for them for a while :)
What else did they produce?
In other BoA news, I watched the Meri Kuri breakdown earlier for the first time. So sweet. And such a nice song, though quite reminiscent of "Stories" from the Beauty and the Beast An Enchanted Christmas, no?
Almost half of Namie Amuro's last album:
The drama version of the PV is up:
I hope they'll get translated soon, but I've finally been seeing SM push some BoA interviews (like 15-16) on the Korean media and there's some good stuff. Here's one (in Korean) http://news.nate.com/view/20120727n08276 where she talks quite a lot about the music, how she likes electro but specifically wanted mid-tempo melodic rnb for the single and that she was involved as the co-producer from the beginning stages of planning, wanted to drop the high heels and return to sneakers, etc. "Wanted to avoid the typical SM sound". Also talks why PSY owns the charts.
Korea Times put up an article, nice quote from her brother:
Meant to mention this from another Korea Times article before:
I'd like to know those terms! Insiders, throw us a bone. I've noticed other SM artists like the SuJu guys are calling her "director BoA" these days, in a jokey matter but sorta not. With all the talk recently of rank and command in SM I just want to know more about the powers behind the scenes, the kind of pull some people have.
BoA for new SM CEO, haha!
In 10 years time that would be a natural development! Although Kangta does some management tasks these day as far as I know. But he's clearly lacking in leadership charisma compared to BoA.
I love her new video The Shadow...
Wow, it really is a gorgeous video. It's very BoA.
I wasn't feeling The Shadow before but the MV has made it for me. BoA is on fire.
