Small Talk is cute and the video actually elevated it a bit for me but what a damn misfire of not following Never Really Over with Harleys In Hawaii instead.

Also, I... maintain that y'all got intensely gassed up over "Never Really Over" to the point where "Small Talk" was never going to stack up. It would have made a pretty cute fifth single for her in 2010 but... it was not the song that should have taken the baton from the incredible work "Never Really Over" did in rehabilitating her chart power.
