Bravo - General Discussion

The only Bravo show I watched religiously was Project Runway. Now it’s Below Deck and its sisterins. Is there any other Bravo show worth watching now? I feel it’s too late for me to start with the Housewives now.
RHONY or Potomac are both worth the late start. RHOSLC only has one season so far and was a pretty excellent start.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys I think I’ll start with Married to Medicine and Housewives of Potomac. My sister works in the medical field and I’m originally from the Maryland area so that grabs my attention.
What a beautiful beginning!

It is never too late. I watched the whole Beverly Hills edition of Real Housewives during 2020 and I’m seven seasons into New York. My brain may be melting and I could have finished a law degree during all that time but it’s totally worth it.

I'm currently sticking on Top Chef in the background whilst working these days. Just finished Season 11. I find it hard to comprehend that Padma Lakshmi is:
  1. Sylk from Mariah Carey's Magnus opus "Glitter".
  2. Used to be married to Salman Rushdie.
Also, I've always enjoyed these parodies, and I don't even watch Bravo that much!

I can't find the 30 Rock or Kimmy Schmidt joke in which someone assumes that Bravo still shows opera and other high entertainment culture shows...

I’ve been sucked into Below Deck finally, and it’s so addicting.

Season 3 of the OG series is one of those A+ top tier magic seasons of reality television that come around so rarely.

I fucking love Kate Chastian. I can’t help it.
Kate is an icon, the moment, etc. Season 1 is actually a bit unbearable because it doesn’t have her (as was the most recent season).

I've also recently started the show and I'm about to watch season 3 (and very excited about it since pretty much everyone hails it as the best), and of course I love Kate, but I have to say that I found season 1 a lot more enjoyable than most Below Deck fans.

Kat terrorising literally everyone when drunk, Sam's lethargic attitude combined with her smirk driving Adrian up the wall, CJ being the biggest a-hole known to mankind while looking like a knock off John Travolta, even the guests were iconic - between the lesbian crew with Kompis the dog to Johnny Eyelash on the first episode getting kicked off for doing coke in the bathroom.

It was a great first season. I get that it lacks Kate (who I'm assuming sticks around for most of the franchise here on out) but it was still very engaging I thought.

I’m glad Summer House finally got a real reunion because it’s been great. Hannah is insufferable and I’m glad the entire cast is holding her accountable for it. Would love to see her & Paige replaced next season.

The Shahs Season 9 trailer is out and it looks... ok. Very much a pandemic season, but they’re never not entertaining, so I’m happy to have them back in any capacity.

Married to Medicine has been on fire this season, with Heavenly proving herself as a true Bravo legend. Her starting with Anila at the start, and popping off on Quad at the end were such moments. It also made me realize how much I miss Quad; she is essential to the show so long as she’s actually willing to film with them. It’s also been a treat having Kary back.

Last month, Heavenly filled in for Gizelle on Chat Room and she was such an incredible inclusion; I would love to have her replace Hannah going forward. Also, the lack of Kate on this show (likely because she’s filming Below Deck, which thank god!) has not done them any favors.

My real gripe with Season 1 is that I wanted most of the crew to be thrown overboard; I found most of them painful to watch. But overall, it was still a great start to the series.

I’m struggling with Sailing Yacht; it’s been two bad seasons in a row for me. The other two in the franchise are just so good that this feels pointless.

Dr Heavenly Kimes is an icon, a legend, the moment. The only ones I don’t care an ounce for are Jackie and Contessa.

Agreed about Quad, she was a breath of fresh air this week and her gifts for the women were hysterical. It really felt like a return to early seasons Quad, and I’m all for that.

Kari’s “Sorry, Dr Damon Daddy” was hysterical and I love how I afraid she is of everyone. Lisa Nicole is still a flop.

I like Hannah Berner and Paige. Summer House would have been boring without her.

Her ridiculous "Don't talk about my family" rant was hilarious!

But I *love* Dr. Heavenly, one of my favorite Bravo stars ever.

The way I can hear this gif.

Don’t forget to check out Shahs as well for you new Bravo converters. I also like SOME seasons of Top Chef although the latest one is kinda like a snooze. Shota remains a ZADDY.
