Bree is a superstar and a performer and her type of act needs BUDGET. She can't be doing acoustic or iPhone videos, she needs more. Simz and Jorja can get by and book festivals and syncs / ad coin just by releasing mixtapes that are self produced and one shot acoustic videos. Bree needs someone to believe and invest in her. She's been unlucky nothing has popped off yet. I mean Somebody Like You was peak 2022. Other girls would kill.

I’m kind of shocked at the lack of festivals she was booked for last year too. She’s made to perform. She deserves so much better.
She should be so much bigger and it’s frustrating . Cause I see her vision and the big superstar she could become if she just gets given that push !
It feels like the label was banking on Somebody Like You being her big breakthrough moment, and when that didn't happen they just gave up? The whole thing felt a bit misguided and old-fashioned, because even though it's a great song, I don't think it made sense for it to be a make or break moment for Bree when it's so different from most of her discography, and probably wasn't what most fans wanted/expected either.
It was a four minute long ballad as well. A risky choice at an attempt at a breakthrough moment in 2022. I think they were initially banking on HOT HOT but again they threw in the towel way too quickly. That had massive potential.
I feel like they was more banking on HOT HOT being her breakthrough hit but losing the original sample kind of derailed things and it just felt like they gave up once the sample was gone .

The video is GORGEOUS
I think the video should of been put on Khalid’s YouTube instead to be honest as he definitely has the bigger following and the song is pretty much a duet .
Oh, this is REALLY good! Probably my favourite thing she's put out since Little Nokia, I hope it proves to be the break we've been waiting for.
This is sublime. It feels like a perfect end of summer track for when you’ve had that passionate fling that can’t exist outside of a certain time period.
