Britney Spears - Femme Fatale

I had a dream last night that the first single was called 'Omnipotent'. But it was basically a cover of 'The Bare Necessities' from Jungle Book with a new electropop production.

Atleast we could say MM & DL were doing something original, eh? But seriously, my faith in the two is being restored slightly... they're not gonna give Britney any old Ke$ha/Perry rejects, and I understand that now.

January third can't come sooner, but I hope to hear some sort of snippet before the New Year.

Well, that's BreatheHeavy for you, it's not even a Max Martin and Dr. Luke tune and yet somehow it's a rumored demo.

I actually kind of like the demo though.

I like it too, but it's obviously not lead single material so I don't know why they're going mental right now. Well, I do know, but being a Britney fan doesn't need to involve jumping to conclusions all the time.

I don't mind if this is Britney's demo or not (rather unlikely), at least I discovered a cool new song that I can enjoy until her real single will premiere. But it's sound quite radio friendly in the way Womanizer does.

Yeah, because of the blatant use of a meaningless and repetitive hook. I fucking hate that. Just because you a repeat a word/phrase to exhaustion doesn't mean it's a good hook! What is wrong with producers?!

I don't think it is a good enough song to be a lead single.

I really like that demo but I hope it's just a case of a fan finding a song of the same name and coming to the wrong conclusion.

I like it but clearly fake.

It's not Britney's standards and doesn't sound like a departure from Dr Luke's and Max Martin's productions!

You expect Britney fans to read...of course not.

But I actually like the song, and posted it a few days ago on here.....not saying it was a demo, but another song with the same name.....but deleted it cause I knew no one would actually read that it wasn't produced by Dr. Luke and judge accordingly.

I quite like it, too. But I echo everyone's statements about it obviously not being Britney-lead-single-worthy.

This reminded me of the Garibay demo "Outta My Head." I love that track...too bad it will clearly not end up on the album.

I really quite like it actually. But if that was her lead single, I would literally burst into flames. Surely, the fact that the lyrics are completely from a man's perspective denote any slight chance anybody had of this being a demo for her?

Which gets me thinking... Ugh, imagine if there's a rappr feature on the lead single.

I love how crazy Britney fans are when it comes to demo's. If the song has the same name, it must be the same one.

Oh god...really, people? judging a song as not being Britney worthy even though it's clearly not Britney's?

Why don't we go and judge Backstreet Boys' Everybody too? You know, Britney has a song titled Everybody.

BSB's "Everybody" remains firmly heads and shoulders above the piece of shit, waste of a Eurythmics sample that is Britney's "Everybody."

Re: Britney Spears - 7th Album {March 2011}

Does anyone else think Robyn's 'Time Machine' would be an amazing song for Britney to cover for this next cycle? I am convinced it would be a huge 'sorry public I fucked up' moment for her - even if just radio 1 live lounge - and she could easily handle it vocally.
