Always great to know she's in the studio working on new material. Britney Jean didn't really have much lasting power outside of a couple of songs but let's not forget how many other album she has released that did. I still listen to Femme Fatale pretty regularly and I've discovered that Circus is a great light dancey pop album to play at a kids party/family gathering so it still gets a lot of plays from me because of that.
Blackout and In The Zone are of course classics and career bests, and the three blockbusters that preceded them all have a large number of amazing moments on them that have provided the soundtrack to many key moments in all of our lives.
So I guess I'm looking forward to whatever it is that comes next. I can't really think what style of music the next album will be...she always starts out saying it's "urban" and "rocky" so I'd take claims like that with a pinch of salt. All I know is that I currently can't stop playing He About To Lose Me, so anything guitar based with Britney singing in a lower register would be very welcome from me.
