I really don't want to get my hopes up about this after Britney Jean turned out to be so blah, but she seems to be in an excellent place right now. I wonder when we'll get word of producers... (please god no will.i.am PLEASE)

Is she definitely recording a song? I mean couldn't it for something else. They do look like lyrics but I don't wanna get my hopes up for new music.

Cigarettes ON the damn music stand and the room looks hazy (hay-zaaay.) Amazing. I want something that obliterates BJ (not like it's hard) and I just hope she promotes the damn thing a little because I'm not planning on schlepping to Vegas in the near future.

I mean, it could be something for the lingerie line, but she hasn't recorded a new song for the new perfume lines she's done or the 18th version of Fantasy that's coming out soon too. It would be odd for her mother to phrase it like that even if she was doing a feature.

Always great to know she's in the studio working on new material. Britney Jean didn't really have much lasting power outside of a couple of songs but let's not forget how many other album she has released that did. I still listen to Femme Fatale pretty regularly and I've discovered that Circus is a great light dancey pop album to play at a kids party/family gathering so it still gets a lot of plays from me because of that.

Blackout and In The Zone are of course classics and career bests, and the three blockbusters that preceded them all have a large number of amazing moments on them that have provided the soundtrack to many key moments in all of our lives.

So I guess I'm looking forward to whatever it is that comes next. I can't really think what style of music the next album will be...she always starts out saying it's "urban" and "rocky" so I'd take claims like that with a pinch of salt. All I know is that I currently can't stop playing He About To Lose Me, so anything guitar based with Britney singing in a lower register would be very welcome from me.

Can anyone decipher the song title? Marlboro Menthols are disgusting, the lights are better~ #twoweeksclean

But... I don't know how to feel about this. It can only go up from here, or be worse than Britney Jean. Jesus Christ.
