I don't know how Boys done so bad but I really love Someday I Will Understand think its lovely actually I think Britney's ballads are really beautiful!!
This was the 4th and final single released from Britney's sophomore album, Oops!... I Did It Again. It achieved top 20 success in the United Kingdom where it was able to chart at number 12. However, it sadly didn't chart on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. Fellow megastar, Shania Twain is credited as one of the songwriters on the song. The song was praised by critics at the time for it's polished lyrics.
This was the third song to be released as a single from her third studio album, Britney. It was released as the single to promote her first motion picture appearance in the film, Crossroads. The song reached the Number 2 position on the UK singles chart, and failed to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100. It was written by fellow musician, Dido and received praise from music critics for it's mature lyrics.
I don't dislike the song, but I really don't think it's one of her best. It's my second least favourite ballad she's released as a single, behind Someday. I think that Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know and From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart deserved to be ranked higher than it.
I have a passing knowledge of Britney's singles and a couple of the ones already mentioned have been ok but I've never really noticed her single covers before.
This was the 4th and final to be released from Britney's fourth studio album, In The Zone. The song was not a great success chart wise, peaking at Number 79 on the US Billboard Hot 100, the only country it recieved an official single release in. The music video for the song was cancelled as Spears injured her knee whilst shooting it. The song was written and produced by fellow artist, R Kelly.
This was the second song Spears released as a single in her illustrious career. It was released as a single from her successful debut album, ...Baby One More Time. It managed to reach Number 21 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Number 3 position on the UK Singles Chart. It was the first ballad Spears ever released as a single and is considered a great representation of her more innocent younger years as an artist.
