Wild to think how things could maybe be different for her if they kept that part of the interview in. There was already some stuff swirling around at that time that this certainly would have added some additional pressure and scrutiny around the conservatorship before things got as bad as they did.

I think that is a fascinating clip to watch. You can see her take a beat and decide what she’s going to say, and in that moment she says to herself “fuck it I’m doing it” and starts talking. You can see she is nervous, you can tell Jonathan is a little bit shook that he’s managed to get her to talk about it, and then… it never airs. That must have been so disheartening for her.

Seeing this today, it feels so wrong to have cut this part from the original airing to satisfy her team needs, as usual. As people here said, It could have helped her case sooner... I get why she's tired and pissed off about the industry. Everybody knew, but everybody played the game.

She presumably meant that it had been three album cycles under the conservatorship (Circus, Femme Fatale and Britney Jean), which is why she’d had enough and wanted Glory to be on her terms.

I love how Britney's conservatorship team are so irrelevant and powerless now that ITV had no fear of releasing it.

It's just so upsetting and disturbing what they did to her and her mental health after this though, she seems in such a good place here. Those monsters should all be locked up.

She seems to actually really like "Work Bitch", because it's the only song she's acknowledged from that album post-conservatorship.

It's so sad to look at how she was doing well (or as well as one could be doing given the circumstances) around Glory, and they did their best to ruin that. Whatever happened in 2019 seems to have been the worst of it all.

I've honestly never gotten the hype surrounding Work Bitch. "The only song I kept from Britney Jean is Work Bitch" is something I see a lot, nope not for me. It's just as vapid, hollow and empty as the other songs on the record.

Glory remains one of her best though, it's a shame we'll probably never have a follow-up.
