At some point Sia realized she could write whatever and still get paid.
I wonder how Elton got her to record with him. And how many people are asking her to do something with her. There would have been pretty iconic options in the recent past, like being on brat remixed or something surprisingly. I know she doesn't want to do anything right now apparently. Just curious who knocked on her door to get something out of her. Outside of will.i.am.
There were rumors of The Weeknd, Madonna, and Charli XCX, but who knows.

She's attended to many of his AIDS Foundation benefits that Elton holds every year and she's always said that she was a fan, so I doubt she would have turned down this opportunity.
I also think Cade might have helped smoothed things out, as well as Britney's requirements e.g. not performing it, be in the music video etc.
It always sounded like Britney had a cold to me so I wasn’t shocked but I was disturbed when the evidence was presented.
Here’s hoping we get a version with Britney’s own vocals, maybe on a new Greatest Hits.

random but I've recently fallen back in love with Toxic again. I actively avoided the song for so long because it was so overplayed and co-opted by the hetty agenda but I let it play in full the other day and my god, what a perfect pop song. Absolutely zero notes, aged like the finest bottle of wine, your fave girlie would kill for a song this good 4 albums deep into her career etc etc etc.

It's never aired prior to this so it's likely you're misremembering.
There were fans that were there in the audience commenting on it, but they never showed that bit, which fans got sussed.
Some of the clip aired originally. In the original airing they showed all the stuff about Glory being the album she had the most involvement in. The bit about her being strategic to get her way was aired. It was literally just the explicit mention of the conservatorship that was cut.

I dunno, it seems kinda self serving to me. ITV / Jonathan Ross releasing it as some sort of “scoop” so they can be the only ones with an interview clip of Britney mentioning the conservatorship.
Britney had her say the day she spoke in court and then later in her book. That is what should be praised, not some scummy tv network posting some clip 8 years too late.
I mean, it's not really their fault? Team Con would've pressured them to edit any mention of the c-ship.
