I didn’t think Scream & Shout could get much worse, but this is sickening.

Her “Britney, Bitch!” takes in particular just make my skin crawl.

So these two have randomly been uploaded to Streaming. Is this new, or have they always been there?
I was thinking the other day how I miss when the digital 45's from The Singles Collection were on Apple/iTunes. They didn't offer anything that wasn't on the full Singles Collection deluxe, but it was nice seeing all of her singles available as singles with their covers.

Obviously the hope is one day for full single/remix packages for her back catalogue, but who knows if we'll ever get that.

This actually bums me out because I remember really thinking she sounded good on it at the time, loving her vibrato in the chorus. It sounds like any of the takes after after around 4:30 are what they used.

I hate being lied to like this.

Revisiting this iconic performance today.

Probably one of the best, and most underrated, showcases of her technical abilities as a dancer. The way she seamlessly tackles different styles/eras of dance within the one performance, and really demonstrates her creativity and versatility as a performer. All coupled with that stage presence and charisma at 17 YO. And yes the mic is ON for those deep and soulful vocals on ...Baby!

I mean we've known since Britney Jean came out that they were using ghost lead vocals for a lot of that album, so it's not necessarily surprising. Maybe now that the conservatorship is over, this can be revisited and become a news story because it is wild. I remember being in shock after listening to Britney Jean for the first time because it was the first (and thankfully only) Britney album which is sloppy and bad. I'm also still convinced that the Telephone demo isn't her either, although that's I know that's before Britney Jean?

It doesn't make sense given that song would literally take 30 minutes of her time to record. Maybe she was just too burnt out to even engage in anything that wasn't forced upon her.

I get the vibes that anything with Britney (or any artist/celeb that big) it's not that easy. Yeah it's only 30 minutes of recording time but to organise and schedule it into her diary, get security ready, organise transportation, get catering I don't know. I'm sure it's just easier to ask the backing vocalist to do it.

I’d say Glory is genuinely her.

I hope so!

Oh I just found out that Shelby who sings the Scream and Shout chorus was the singer on Will.i.Am's "Bang Bang" which some people thought was Britney when it first emerged. I bet he wanted Britney on that track or at least for Britney to pretend it's her on it (SMH)

She was also in a group called KSM. Even sounds kind of like Britney here:

This stuff continues to be so disappointing.

I even wonder why there was a need for this since we know she was in the studio to record this and we have several outtakes of her singing the song in various iterations.
