Britney Spears

I really do wish during this time of apparent retirement she and RCA would consider expanded albums (Anniversary editions make more sense but they've missed the boat on a lot those). Circus with all the regional bonus tracks plus a few never released would be great (mix and master her version of Telephone, give us Take the Bait!). Blackout with Outta This World finally available and then throw on State of Grace, Kiss You All Over, Who Can She Trust etc. That would keep fans invested, it would keep the streams of her back catalogue strong, and it wouldn't really require much from her.

I really want Take the Bait for some reason ddd. I listen to Candice's demo every now and then and I think Brit would sound great.

I was obsessed with the leak of Kiss You All Over and was gutted when it didn’t make the final cut.

I always thought she should have cleaned it up and put it on Circus. It would sit nicely in between Blur and Mannequin instead of Mmm Papi.

I loved this shoot! The interview portraying her as a menthol smoking unbothered ice queen was iconic too teebs. "No interviews again? That would be great!"
I’d love to know the backstory of that interview because I remember being shook at the time. The way she just casually shrugged throughout it and made it clear she had no clue when the damn album was coming out. Unbothered as could be.

Also confirms that she’s totally clueless when it comes to streaming numbers and charts.

I remember around this time she said she didnt steam music and still used CDs and the most recent one she bought she could remember was Selena's Revival djdjd. For some reason the image of Britney turning up to her dressing room in Vegas with a portable boombox and a copy of Revival with probably a few Janet and Madge faves both sends me and fills me with immense joy. Do you think she put any stickers on it?

New interview with Sam where he discusses his relationship with Britney a bit, he doesn't reveal a whole lot we don't already know but has nothing but praise for her and it's quite sweet. It's too bad things didn't work out between them.

I am actually surprised labels aren't milking her back catalogue way more and also drop some international bonus tracks on streaming from time to time. Maybe a rights thing? Or they think that eventually, not enough people care about Trouble on streaming to actually have someone upload it.
