Busted - Greatest Hits 2.0 + General Discussion

I wonder why they didn’t try make a new original album, especially if they went into to the studio to re-record their old songs with other artists.

Then rather come back for a reunion of their 25th anniversary.

This may lead into a new album. Anniversaries are good promo.

Nostalgia sells better and is easier to market than original material and there's no guarantee that the buzz would be the same in another five years.

I think the re-recordings is a really smart move and then hopefully moving into another album next year. If they played a new song on the tour it'd help kickstart things as well. I'm excited for this whole project and tour now.

I feel like the albums really came in the wrong order. Half Way There was the modern punk-pop album people were craving in 2016. People would have been open to the sound of Night Driver as a progression from that. I think it was just too much of a departure from their original sound to accompany their comeback moment.

I’m quite excited for this. Hopefully the reworks are good and I’ll probably get a ticket for the tour.

They've added 6 extra dates - very pleasantly surprised to see how well this is doing. I snatched some tickets for the O2 as the Pigs Can Fly tour was a blast.

I was very tempted but I only really like Night Driver and I can't imagine any of it will get the recognition it deserves.

The demand for this is crazy. Tried 2 presales and general sale with no decent seats available. So glad they added the extra dates as I managed to bag 2 tickets just as they went on sale. Really looking forward to it, never seen them live but the McBusted tour was one of my favourite shows ever.

Absolutely amazed at the demand for this. Pleased to get decent seats in the end but it's just mad how mad people went for it.

I think Night Driver stands more of a chance of being represented than Half Way There but imagine that both will be played dust really.
