Busted - Greatest Hits 2.0 + General Discussion

I assume that MMM Bop will end up in the main Busted set as well and we will hear it twice that night as I can't imagine they won't be performing it together every night (and Busted aren't coming out to do it in the support bit).

"Crashed The Wedding 2.0" featuring All Time Low out Friday.

It’s fine, I wish they did something more with these new versions, they sing the exact same verses in the same way except James who has given his verses to the feature artist.

This one just feels so pointless, it’s not all the different to the original which is much better than this version,

Yea these new versions have been a bit pointless. I wish they tried to add something different like a female vocalist at least.

Never been a huge fan of Crashed the Wedding anyway so this one doesn’t do anything for me…

Are these 2.0 versions leading towards anything other than the tour?

A "Greatest Hits 2.0" is being released (in September according to reports earlier in the year) and it will be made up of re-recordings like these.

More news next week (Monday judging by their replies) - probably announcing new re-recording, but they've been teasing Greatest Hits 2.0 artwork/tracklisting reveal so assume that'll come very soon as well.

I really want Who’s David uncensored finally released properly. I hope Who’s David 2.0 has no featured artist. “You’re just a whore who sleeps around the town” is just a better lyric than “Somebody saw you sleep around the town” although maybe more problematic in 2023 than 2003.

Year 3000 with the Jonas Brothers feels ridiculously obvious and I can't believe that I hadn't previously thought of it. Looking forward to hearing it but I want the album to go up for pre-order now.

This is everything it absolutely should be. I love the effort that they have made with this and the re-recordings sound great. They are so smart for having standard solo versions as well as the guest versions.

Also, I'm very excited to hear What I Go To School for with The Vamps. Pleased to hear that they gave The Vamps one of the main tracks.
