    Frankly, this is my issue with it. It's fine but it just feels too calculated for the bubblegum electropop gays. Downhill From Here had a bit of the same issue, but it'd still be a memorable song if all the synths were stripped away. I don't think strike would be.

    Strike is excellent, her best song is so so long. Big E•MO•TION vibes from it. It’s stuck in my head way more instantly than Rain On Me has ddddd.

    There's something really special about this one. Definitely feels like that classic confidence that was in 'Give N Take'/'Love the Lie'. It threatens to be quite anonymous but I think the verses and middle-8 are so her.
