Okay, but she was great? Her tone just works here and she sounds better than she ever has in the last three years or however long 5H has been at it. I'm intrigued to see where she goes next and I think this song is going to do well - bring on the video. Machine Gun was okay, he can be 2017's G-eazy rent-a-white-rapper or whatever - they work well together.
I'm honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed this performance, considering I usually can't stand Camila's voice and movements in 5H.

She was amazing.
It's pretty funny that 5H "fans" were dragging her for working with such a nonentity and now the song looks like it's gonna chart higher than a lot of 5H songs did.
Talent always wins etc.
That said, as great as she sounds I do wish I personally liked the song, but I'm sure her next collab after this will be even more of a smash and it probably won't take long to hear either.

I'd be complaining, if you're in a pop group then your priority should be to be a part of that pop group and not working on side, solo projects concurrently. It makes her smart, looking out for herself and for her future; but it's a dumb thing to do at the same time because it undermines your group, brings serious questions over your commitment and true intentions and just feeds into the overall rumour mill that they don't get along. If all five were doing side work, maybe it would be different; but they're not, it's just Camila.
Other members are doing music related things, just nothing has come of it yet. I know Ally definitely is anyway.

Yup. Camila started it, but Lauren and Dinah have been spotted solo in the studio too now, and Normani is working on things as well. Feels like we may be looking at a mutually agreed "hiatus" though it would be cool if they would just alternate between group and solo stuff, kpop style.
I think we all know a "hiatus" will not be a hiatus.

Yeah, I know. It's just so hard for me to imagine they'd actually break up for good right after they finally established themselves as a name in the US, won so many awards, toured the world for the first time....
I'm more here for their solo careers than I want to be though.

I really hope they don't bullshit us if they go on a "hiatus". Just tell us if you're breaking up or not ya'll. I would love one more album but if they start doing solo music and not just features then it's probably a sign.
