Camila Cabello - Second Album

Discussion in 'Pop & Justice' started by Florencia., Dec 5, 2018.

  1. Since it is obvious that her debut era is done (since they never released She Loves Control, Into It or In The Dark as singles) and she is already working on her second album, I thought it was time to start a new thread. I don't think anything will happen anytime soon, but... I wanted to start this one before anyone else did

  2. That video is mute and yet I can still hear it.

  3. More Havana/Never Be the Same/She Loves Control/Into It/In the Dark and less Consequences/Real Friends/Something's Gotta Give and we'll be on to something.

Release She Loves Control as the first single will be a good start.

  5. I'm interested to hear where she goes with this. Her debut showed promise but overall it was quite bland.

  6. I hope she uses her lower register more this time. It just sounds so good!

  7. There is something wrong here, sis.

  8. I wonder if she’ll stick with the same writing/producing team or branch out. They’ll be a bigger budget no?

  9. I definitely want the new album to be bop heavy but I'd appreciate a couple of quality ballads as well, which is something Camilla has already shown she's capable of delivering. Something's Gotta Give which was easily an album highlight.

  10. If her and Shawn are collaborating again hopefully it’s better than what they came up with last time...

  11. But ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is great?

  12. There won't be any promise on this one

    That's a promise

  13. It's just crazy how her career stalled so quick. Like, why would you just abandon a campaign completely after producing a worldwide #1, another top ten single and a #1 album? She should have had at least three or four singles released and been everywhere in 2018 pushing that album to platinum status yet she just sort of dissapeared on tour with Taylor for eternity and Havana seems like a lifetime ago.

  14. I know right? It's one of the best things on both's discographies...

  15. Justice for She Loves Control. That’s all I have to say right now.

  16. It’s pretty much her own doing. After Havana smashed (which she had pushed for and the label weren’t keen) she took control and released what she wanted Never Be The Same, Sangria Wine and Consequences.

Her poor taste is to blame. Justice for OMG, Into it and She Loves Control

  17. Never Be The Same was a good choice and it did pretty well. What happened afterwards was a disaster

  18. Yeah Same smashed and showed another side of her.

  19. Sangria Wine remains one of the worst career decisions a pop girl has made in recent history, a complete car crash that derailed her momentum after back-to-back hits. I don’t think her situation is dire or anything, but I do think there is a lot riding on the lead single for album 2.

  20. Never Be The Same is a good song and my most played song of 2018.
